I have been following discussions about the Aston Martin Vanquish and thought I would chime in with some known issues I have encountered. It seems the second generation of Vanquish, especially the 2012–2018 models, had its fair share of challenges. Notably, engine issues such as failed catalytic converters, poor performance due to faulty ignition coils, and excessive oil consumption have been reported Suspension and handling issues have also been mentioned, such as premature suspension gushing wear and steering issues due to damaged tie rod ends excluding battery drain, etc. Some noted electrical issues. While these are common problems, individual experiences can vary, and it’s always interesting to hear personal stories from real owners.
