The Acura TL is a mid size luxury sedan manufactured by Honda. Yes, it is considered a luxury vehicle. The TL was the best-selling Acura model until it was beaten out by the MDX. It was once ranked as the second best selling luxury sedan. Four generations of the Acura TL were produced, with the final fourth generation TL premiering in 2008 as a 2009 model and ending production in 2014, when it was replaced together with the TSX by the TLX. The TL is considered highly reliable with excellent ownership costs. The frequency at which it develops problems is considered average, and the severity of repairs is low rarely developing major issues. TL was popular for its combination of performance, luxury, and value. Some of the best things about the Acura TL included a powerful engine, luxurious interior, reliability and value. When the TL was discontinued in 2014 the MSRP started at $36,030.
