Model info:

The BMW X5 is a Midsize Luxury Sport Utility Vehicle SUV produced by BMW. In 1999 the first generation of the X5 made its debut. BMW marketed the X5 as a Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) rather than a Sport Utility Vehicle SUV to highlight its on road ability in spite of its size. Among German luxury automakers the X5 was the first to use a unibody chassis with its frame and body manufactured as one piece. Popular competitors for the X5 are the Cadillac XT5, Land Rover Discovery and Lexus RX, all of which are Luxury Mid-Size SUV type Crossovers. Come down and test drive this thing. You will probably drive it home.
