The Chevy Corvette is one of the most popular sports cars built and also known as the Vette; a two-door, two-passenger luxury sports car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet since 1953. The first model was named after a type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. There are currently significant delays in the delivery of new Corvettes. In December 2022, General Motors temporarily halted production of the Vette due to supply chain issues.
