The Chevy Corvette is one of the most popular sports cars built and also known as the Vette; a two-door, two-passenger luxury sports car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet since 1953. The first model was named after a type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. The Vette has become an American icon of success and synonymous with freedom and adventure and ranks at the top of the competitive luxury sports car class.
