1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu; Matching Numbers 350 V8; Factory A/C; Build Sheet & Protect-O-Plate Here is a very original and well-preserved 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu; finished in its factory-correct Cranberry Red; Color Code 75 75; over a clean Black bench-seat interior. Finding a 1970 Chevelle that has retained this much of its original character is becoming increasingly difficult; making this a particularly appealing example for someone who appreciates originality and solid bones. This Chevelle was built at the Baltimore; Maryland assembly plant and was sold new through Partyka Chevrolet in Hamden; Connecticut. Making the history even more impressive; the car retains its original Build Sheet in excellent condition along with its original Protect-O-Plate two pieces of documentation that are increasingly hard to find with a 56-year-old Chevrolet. Under the hood is a matching number 350 cubic-inch V8 engine (engine stamp photo is shown in the pictures). The 350 is the more desirable of the commonly available small-block choices compared with the base 307; providing the kind of power and drivability that makes these cars so enjoyable on the road. The Build Sheet shows M38; denoting the Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 (TH350) 3-speed automatic transmission.
