Check out this 1995 Subaru WRX just listed for sale by Auto Buyers Market. This vehicle is located in Garden City at Tanzo Motors. This is a 1995 Subaru WRX. Personal vehicle up for sale! THIS is a special car! 1995 Subaru WRX Type RA! According to various online references; there was less than 1000 Type RAs produced. Obviously from looking at the photos you see this is a right hand drive car that was imported. The previous owner put the car together to do road race/track days. It most likely goes without saying; but this car isnt a daily driver. Im not saying you couldnt drive it every day; but without A/C and heat its a bit spartan. What you give up in creature comforts; you gain in absolute track weapon. The car weighs 2200 lbs and makes close to 280 wheel HP. While that doesnt sound like much; consider power to weight. Originally this car came with a 5 speed transmission however those units are not known to have the gear set to put up with track time; traction; and the HP so we swapped in a 6 speed transmission with DCCD from a newer STI. The upgrade list is not short; but were going to try our best to remember everything. The engine upgrades are as follows; the engine has been built/rebuilt however we dont have exacts on pistons/rods; we do know that it has a high pressure/flow oil pump as the gauge reads 50-100 psi depending on heat/rpm. 18g turbo; FMIC with aluminum charge piping; complete turboback M2 exhaust; M2 unequal length header; Simtek programable ECU with speed density; AEM wideband o2 sensor(brand new sensor); Autometer Stack Pro boost and oil pressure gauges; etc. The suspension is a set of K sport Super Racing Coilovers; chassis underbracing; and upgraded bushings. The brakes are a set of K sport 8 piston front calipers and stock rears(with upgraded pads). Vehicle has a set of 18x10 squared 2Forge ZF1 wheels wrapped in 265 35 18 Yokohama Neova AD08R tires. The interior has seen a bunch of upgrades including bolt in cage; Mirco RTS FIA approved seats; TRS 4 point harness; Kartboy shifter; OMP wheel; all Lexan windows except windshield; race door cards; and much more. The exterior of the car does have some tasteful; raceminded upgrades including carbon fiber front bumper canards; 22B Style front bumper with lip; widebody/overfender kit; roof vent; hood pins; and last but not least; the massive actual carbon fiber wing. This vehicle has more mechanical grip than I know what to do with. This car is ready to have some fun. Give me a shout and I can tell you what I know about the car.

The Subaru WRX, or Rex, as it is often called, is an all-wheel drive sport compact car manufactured by the Japanese automaker Subaru, originally based on the Impreza. Subaru claimed the name WRX stands for World Rally eXperimental. Since 2014, the WRX lineup has been split from the Impreza, with a different body style that is not offered as an optional hatchback/wagon. The WRX is known to compete with the GTI, Elantra, GLI, Civic, G70, Stinger, C-Class and 3-Series. The Subaru WRX has a top speed of 155 MPH, however, the STI model can reach a top speed of 174 MPH. Like pretty much all Subarus, it’s also safe. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named the WRX one of the safest cars in America, awarding the hot Subaru the title of Top Safety Pick.
