Model info:

The Volkswagen Atlas is a mid-size SUV manufactured by Volkswagen since 2017. It is positioned above the Tiguan and below the Touareg. The Atlas is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Atlas is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. A 3.6L V6 engine that produces 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque is also available. Both engines are fit to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Atlas has a spacious interior with seating for up to seven passengers. The second-row seats can be folded down to create 55.5 cubic feet of cargo space, while the third-row seats can be folded down to create 96.8 cubic feet of cargo space. The Atlas comes standard with a variety of features, including a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system. Available features include a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, and a 12-speaker Fender audio system. The Atlas has been praised for its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and long list of standard features. It has been criticized for its lack of fuel economy and its somewhat bland styling. The average MSRP of a 2017 Atlas when it was first released was $31,420. The base MSRP for the 2017 Atlas was $30,500, while the top-of-the-line SEL trim level started at $41,420.
