Both models experienced serious cuts to their sticker prices in January, with the price of the Model 3 dropping 6.4 percent and the Model Y Long Range dropping by a whopping 20 percent.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, prices for the Tesla Model S and Model X fell between 4 percent and 9 percent.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current prices for Tesla\u2019s vehicles are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Model S: $89,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model S Plaid: $109,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model 3: $42,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model 3 Performance: $53,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model X: $99,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model X Plaid: $109,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model Y Long Range: $54,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Model Y Performance: $58,990.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tesla has announced their intention to manufacture approximately 1.8 million vehicles by the end of 2023, although Musk had claimed earlier this year that it would be possible for the company to put out as many as two million depending on demand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tesla&#8217;s price cuts in January were spurred by desire to enable them to qualify for federal electric vehicle tax credits and to increase overall demand, with Musk saying during the company&#8217;s investor day in March that <em>\u201caffordability is what matters.
