The BMW X1 is a subcompact luxury crossover manufactured by BMW since 2009. It has a similar platform to that of the BMX X3. Top competitors have been the Audi Q3, Mercedes GLA Class, Mazda CX-5 and Volvo XC40. X1 has a predicted reliability score of 75 out of 100 with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration giving it five stars overall for safety. The X1 is considered a great luxury subcompact SUV. It provides just about everything one could hope for from a small crossover. For an authentic German luxury SUV that won't break the bank, BMW X1 is an appealing choice. It is also highly fuel efficient as well. Another great thing about the X1 is that it has a comfortable and quiet cabin. Take this vehicle up to speed on the highway and it is still quiet. Only at full throttle will you hear the engine. At idle, it is basically inaudible. Come down and test drive this thing. You will probably drive it home.
