The Cadillac ATS (short for Alpha Touring Sedan) is a compact to mid-size executive 4-door sedan and 2-door coupe manufactured and marketed by Cadillac and developed by General Motors. Cadillac debuted the ATS in the United States in January 2012 and began selling the ATS as a 2013 model. The ATS-V model is its high-performance sport version. Competitors to the ATS include the BMW 3 Series, BMW 4-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Lexus RC, Audi A4, Audi A5, Infiniti Q60, and Infiniti G37. The ATS was considered a well-rounded luxury sedan that offered a lot of car for the money. Some of the best things about the ATS included its performance, luxury, handling and value: The ATS was priced competitively against other luxury compact sedans, making it a good value for the money. It was discontinued after the 2018 model year at which time the average MSRP was $38,815.
