2007 CHEVROLET Avalanche

The Chevy Avalanche is Full Size Pickup Truck sharing the same long wheelbase chassis used on the Escalade EXT and Suburban. Unlike a typical pickup truck, the open bed of the Avalanche opens to the back seat area through a folding panel mid gate and a removable rear window. A series of three removable panels form a watertight cover for the cargo bed. Additional storage is provided behind each wheel well, accessed by locking flip top panels and usable as self draining ice chests. Avalanche was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year award and was the Motor Trend Truck of the Year. Competitors have been the Titan, F150 and Ram. Avalanche reliability is 63.45 and that makes it very reliable. Most models offer a maximum towing capacity of 8,000 pounds and earned a top five-star rating in all front- and side-impact tests. Avalanche was discontinued after the 2013 model year at which time the average MSRP was $40,025.
