Model info:

The Chevy Silverado is a range of trucks manufactured by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand. Introduced in 1999, the Silverado is offered as a series of full-size pickup trucks, chassis cab trucks, and medium-duty trucks. The Chevrolet Silverado shares mechanical commonality with the Sierra. Competing against the F-Series, Titan, and Tundra, the Silverado is among the best-selling vehicles in the United States, having sold over 12 million since its introduction. The Chevrolet Silverado Reliability Rating is 3.5 out of 5.0, which ranks it 5th out of 17 for full-size trucks. The NHTSA gives the Silverado a four-star overall safety rating regardless of cab version, with four stars for front impact and rollover resistance testing and five stars for side impact tests. The crew-cab has a full-size back seat and four doors. There are eight trims of the standard Silverado with as many as 41 different possible configurations including regular cab, extended cab, and crew cab. It is also available with a choice of two engines: a 5.3L V8 engine or a 6.2L V8 engine. The Silverado is one of the most capable trucks on the market, and it can tow up to 13,200 pounds and haul up to 2,240 pounds. This makes it a popular choice for people who need a truck for work or for towing trailers.
