The Chevrolet Spark is a compact 5-door hatchback manufactured by General Motors's subsidiary GM Korea and is available in both gasoline and electric versions. The vehicle was initially developed by Daewoo which was purchased by General Motors. A limited-production all-electric version, the Chevy Spark EV was released in select markets. The Spark is Chevys smallest vehicle currently sold in the U.S. and one of the least-expensive cars on sale. Top competitors have been the Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio, Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Versa and Toyota Yaris, all subcompact to compact and affordable small cars. The Spark EV was the first all-electric passenger car marketed by General Motors since the EV1 was discontinued. The Spark has a predicted reliability score of 85 out of 100.
