The Chevrolet Tahoe, and the extremely similar counterpart, the GMC Yukon, are both full size SUVs Sport Utility Vehicles from General Motors. GMC Yukon and Chevy Tahoe are cousins with a lot in common. Both SUVs share the same T1 Truck platform from General Motors. The Chevy Tahoe has been a top ranked affordable large SUV by U.S. News and World Reports and praised by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety as top of its class. The Tahoe has also been utilized by both the police and the military. The Tahoe is a good vehicle offering three rows of seats and more cargo room than most other large SUVs. Tahoe is quite luxurious despite not officially being a luxury SUV. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe an overall safety rating of four out of five stars. As far as reliability, Tahoe has a reliability rating of 3.5 out of 5.0, which ranks it 21st out of 26 for midsize SUVs. The Tahoe is still in production and remains one of the brands most popular vehicles.
