Model info:

The Chrysler Aspen is a Full Size Luxury Sport Utility Vehicle SUV manufactured by Chrysler that first came out during the 2007 model year. The Chrysler Aspen was based on the Dodge Durango SUV which raised the bar for full-sized SUVs when introduced. Aside from the Durango, Aspen has been said to run up against the Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition, the Jeep Commander, and the Nissan Armada among others. Unfortunately, The Aspen was discontinued in late 2008. Chrysler Aspen has a nice interior but there are few other reasons to choose the Aspen over roomier full-size SUVs. Interior features are strengths in the market; it's a little nicer inside, with more features and a look that is similar to top-of-the-line competitors like the Yukon Denali or Expedition Limited, but for a lot less money. The Aspen was the first truck based Sport Utility Vehicle commercialized under the Chrysler brand. Auto Week called the Aspen affordable full-size luxury while Motor Trend said the Aspen considerably cheaper and capable SUV offering. Aspen was discontinued after the 2009 model year at which time the MSRP was $38,955. It was replaced by the Pacifica.
