The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is a midsize Pickup Truck from the Ford Motor Company sold between the years of 2000 and 2010. During its first year of sales there was over a three month waiting list for this model. The Sport Trac has competed with the crew-cab variants of the Ranger, Avalanche, Colorado, Canyon, Dakota, Frontier, Tacoma and Ridgeline. Sport Trac is available as an XLS, XLT, Limited and XLT Premium as well as a rarer Adrenalin Edition all of which add features and badging. The Sport Trac was discontinued in 2010 when high fuel prices and the recession saw demand drop off considerably.
