The Ford Taurus, manufactured by Ford Motor Company, was introduced in 1986. Taurus remained in near-continuous production for more than thirty years. While produced as a mid size car, it changed to full-size in later years. It also had a more-upscale Mercury-branded version entitled the Sable.
