Our Thunderbird is powered by the incredible 312 CI, E Code, Engine with dual 4 barrel Holley Carburetors mated to a Ford O Matic 3 speed automatic transmission. Out of all of the Thunderbirds being produced in 1957 only 1,363 were fortunate enough to be graced with the E Code 312CI V8 power plant. The specific competitors for each generation of the Thunderbird varied depending on the time period and market segment it was targeting.
