The Acadia shares the same base as the Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave all which use the GM Lambda platform, the basic frame and seating space which allows 7 to 8 passenger third row seating in GM crossovers. Interior upgrades include perforated leather seating and unique wood trim. Additionally, the Acadia also has a standard OnStar system and six different airbags equipped in the vehicle.
