The H3 was based on the GMT355 platform shared with the Chevy Colorado and Canyon pickup trucks, and it was available with a variety of engines, including a 3.5-liter five-cylinder engine and a 5.3-liter V8 engine. The H3 was offered with four-wheel drive and a range of off-road features, including skid plates, locking differentials, and hill descent control.
