The Jeep Wrangler JK is the third-generation model of the Jeep Wrangler, which was produced from 2007 to 2018. It was available in two- and four-door configurations and was known for its rugged off-road capabilities and iconic design. The Wrangler JK had several trim levels, including the Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon, and was offered with a variety of engines, including a 3.6-liter V6, a 3.8-liter V6, and a 2.8-liter diesel engine (in some markets). The Wrangler JK received mixed safety ratings from various organizations. In crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK received an overall rating of just two out of five stars. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) did not conduct crash tests on the Wrangler JK, but it did give it a Marginal rating for its small overlap front crash test.
