Model info:

The Kia Niro is a subcompact crossover SUV that was first introduced in 2017. It is a hybrid vehicle that combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor to provide improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The Niro is available in both hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, with the latter offering a larger battery that can be recharged from an external power source for extended electric-only driving. Both versions feature a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor to produce a combined 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid version has a fuel economy rating of up to 50 miles per gallon combined, while the plug-in hybrid version can travel up to 26 miles on electric power alone. In addition to its eco-friendly powertrain, the Niro also features a spacious and versatile interior with ample cargo space and standard features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a range of advanced safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Overall, the Kia Niro competes with other subcompact crossovers such as the Toyota C-HR, Honda HR-V, and Hyundai Kona. It has received positive reviews for its fuel efficiency, practicality, and value, and is considered a strong option for buyers seeking a more eco-friendly vehicle.
