Top competitors have been the GV80, MDX, GLE-Class, X5, Q7, XC90, Defender and Porsche Cayenne. RX has been available as the RX 350, 350 F Sport, 350L, 450H, 450H F Sport, and 450HL. The NHTSA gives the AWD RX five stars for safety, with four stars in frontal impact. As far as reliability, Lexus won the J.D. Power award for the most reliable cars nine times in 10 years, receiving a reliability score of 81/100. But specifically, the RX 350 gets a reliability score of 85/100.
