The Lincoln Town Car is a full size luxury sedan sold by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company until its production ended in 2011. The Town Car is commonly used as a limousine and chauffeured car due to its luxurious and leg roomy cabin. Would also serve as a nice vehicle for Uber or Lyft drivers depending on the model year. Its large dimensions made it the largest car and longest car built in the Western Hemisphere. In 1981, the Continental was renamed the Lincoln Town Car to accommodate its seventh-generation. The Continental was retired and replaced by the Lincoln MKS. The Lincoln Town Car remains a common sight on Park Avenue or waiting to whisk a Wall Street type home for the evening. The Town Car has its main competitors as the Lexus LS 460 and Cadillac DTS. Town Cars were also the first sedans in the world to receive a five star crash rating in every single category by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
