It is a compact cargo van and wagon type people carrier, replacing the older Nissan Vanette. It is popular in use as a yellow colored New York City taxi vehicle. Cargo vans are mostly used for transporting goods and equipment. They are also used for moving, business use for deliveries, Construction to transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites, delivery to homes and businesses as well as even tourism to transport tourists to and from attractions. The NV200 was discontinued in the United States in 2021 at which time the average MSRP was $23,370.
