2013 TOYOTA FJ Cruiser

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a retro-styled, mid-size SUV that was produced by Toyota from 2006 to 2014. The FJ Cruiser was built on the same platform as the Toyota 4Runner, but with a shorter wheelbase and unique exterior styling. It was available with a 4.0-liter V6 engine that produced 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. The FJ Cruiser also came with features designed for off-road performance, such as a locking rear differential, skid plates, and a high ground clearance. The FJ Cruiser had a unique interior with a dashboard inspired by the original FJ40, and featured a number of convenient and practical features such as water-resistant upholstery, an optional backup camera, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system. It was available with four-wheel drive and came in three different trim levels, with options for different colors, wheels, and interior features. Top competitors include the Jeep Wrangler, the Jeep Cherokee, and the Honda Element. The FJ Cruiser was popular among enthusiasts and off-road enthusiasts for its distinctive styling, capable off-road performance, and strong reliability. However, Toyota discontinued the FJ Cruiser in 2014 due to declining sales and changing market demands.
