The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck manufactured by the Japanese automaker Toyota. It was first introduced in 1999 as a 2000 model year vehicle, and is currently in its third generation. The Tundra is known for its durability, reliability, and capability, and is designed to compete with other full-size trucks like the F-150, Silverado, and Ram 1500. It is available in several different configurations, including three cab styles (regular, extended, and crew), three bed lengths (short, standard, and long), and two-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Tundra is powered by either a V8 or a V6 engine, and is capable of towing up to 10,200 pounds and carrying a payload of up to 1,730 pounds, depending on the configuration. It also comes with a range of features, such as a touchscreen infotainment system, a backup camera, and Toyota Safety Sense, which includes pre-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. The Tundra is assembled in San Antonio, Texas, and is a popular choice for those who need a powerful and capable truck for work or play.
