Hyundai and Kia Develop Wheels & Tires with Built-In, Retractable Snow Chains

Thanks for sharing the link. I read the full piece. I strongly feel that it would be a game changing revolution. This would be so convenient for the users of the car. I am sure that more and more brands would follow in their footsteps in coming times. Tires need to be safe and with stronger grip for driving in snow. Definitely a boost to the safety features of the vehicle. Great to see innovation and technology coming together to help with the real life problems.

This would bring a whole lot of convenience to winter driving. Imagine having to stop to change snow chains. With these new tires Kia/Hyundai is bringing, all you would need would be a button press to get your snow chains changed.

Stopping to change the snow chains manually is something that is not liked by many. That's one big reason to hate driving during winters in places where it snows a lot. But if it's just a matter of button press, it would be so convenient.
Almost as cool as a heated driveway to melt snow! 😎
That sounds cool..Does that really exist?

This is a great idea for drivers winter driving will he a lot cool as having to stop to change snow chains wouldn't be a problem. The tires Kia/Hyundai just need you to automatically get your snow chains changed. This sounds a lot easy

Thank you for sharing the link with us. I must say that Hyundai and Kia's invention of retractable snow chains is extremely impressive. It is a huge comfort for drivers who live in certain countries during the winter season because this advancement has answered their concerns. The retractable snow chains are triggered from within the car, giving drivers greater safety and comfort, especially in adverse weather conditions. The function prevents the driver from having to leave the car and fight to install regular snow chains.
