Maserati Unveil MCXtrema - Their Most Powerful Car Ever
The luxury car firm unveiled the speedy supercar at motoring event The Quail in Monterey in August 2023.
The MCXtrema is a track-only, high-performance sports car developed by Maserati. It is based on the MC20 road car, but has been heavily modified to improve its performance on the track. The MCXtrema is powered by a 740-horsepower version of the MC20's Nettuno V6 engine, and has a dry weight of just 1,300 kilograms. This gives it a power-to-weight ratio of 620 horsepower per ton, making it one of the most powerful cars on the market.
