There was a sharp increase in the demand for used cars for some time because there was scarcity of chips for production of new cars. I think the scarcity of these chips have eased up a bit and more new cars are being produced. The demand for used vehicles has also reduced as a resultant and that leads to the reduction in the price of used cars.
