Ford and Lincoln are both owned by Ford Motor Company, but they are distinct brands that target different market segments.

  • Ford is known for its affordable, fuel-efficient vehicles. Ford vehicles are often seen as being practical and reliable. Some of the most popular Ford models include the F-150 pickup truck, the Mustang sports car, and the Fiesta subcompact car.
  • Lincoln is known for its luxury vehicles. Lincoln vehicles are often seen as being stylish, comfortable, and sophisticated. Some of the most popular Lincoln models include the Navigator SUV, the Continental sedan, and the Nautilus SUV.
In general, Ford vehicles are priced lower than Lincoln vehicles. This is because Ford vehicles are typically more focused on affordability and value, while Lincoln vehicles are more focused on luxury and comfort.

It's true that Ford and Lincoln are owned by the Ford motor company. One of the difference between Ford and Lincoln is that Lincoln has a superb and refined interior while Ford is designed to suit numerous budget, not really about the interior aspect.

Ford caters to clients with affordable options such as compact cars, trucks, and SUVs. In addition, Ford vehicles are noted for their dependability and durability. Meanwhile, Lincoln is well-known for offering luxury vehicles to affluent consumers. Their autos provide luxury features.

It is the same scenario that exists between the Mercedes and AMG. Same founding company. Different value propositions. And different markets. The two subsidiaries are actually excellent in their respective distinct value.

Ford I find is better for drivers who are looking for a vehicle that is affordable for them, even if they are on a budget. I know my mum owns a Ford and my grandma also owns a Ford and she much prefer Ford due to their reliability and their affordability too.
