The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a retro-style compact car that was produced by Chrysler from the year 2000 to 2010. Its unique design was originally intended to resemble a hot rod or custom car from the late 1930s or early 1940s. The Cruiser was offered in a variety of trims and configurations, including a two-door convertibles, a four-door wagon, and a two-door panel van. It was available with a wide range of engines, such as a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, a turbocharged version, and a 2.2-liter diesel motor. The PT Cruiser was well-received by critics and it was popular with buyers, particularly in its early years. However, its sales declined in the later half of its production, and was eventually discontinued in 2010. Despite its discontinuation, the PT Cruiser remains a popular and distinctive car among enthusiasts.
