The Dodge Journey is a midsize crossover SUV built by the Dodge division of Chrysler. It is built on the Chrysler JC platform and often is confused with the Freemont. Both the Freemont and the Journey were manufactured at the same assembly plant until Journey took over production and was renamed the Freemont. The Dodge Journey received a 4 star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Journey shares similarities with the Dodge Avenger and has an identical wheelbase to the outgoing short wheel base of the Chrysler minivan, and slightly shorter wheelbase than the Chrysler Pacifica. Unfortunately, the Dodge Journey has been discontinued and is no longer in production. The Dodge Journey Reliability Rating is 4.0 out of 5.0, which ranks it 6th out of 26 for midsize SUVs. Journey was discontinued after the 2020 model year at which time the average MSRP was $25,170.
