The Jaguar XK is a series of high performance two-door grand tourer luxury cars produced by British car maker Jaguar Cars since 1996. They are assembled at the Castle Bromwich Assembly in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The first generation of the series, the XK8, replaced the XJS. Production of the XK ceased in 2014 without a replacement model. According to Jaguar, major competitors include the Lexus SC 430, Cadillac XLR, BMW 650i and Mercedes-Benz SL500. XK is considered extremely reliable and can last for very high mileage; from 180,000 to 200,000 miles or more.
