What we have here is an ultra rare limited production 1991 Pontiac Firebird Bandit 2 SE with a mere 13;000 miles from new. This car is #9 of 600; but actual production numbers are believed to be much lower with the general consensus being around 200. The Bandit II was modified by Choo Choo Customs of Chattanooga Tennessee to pay homage to the original Smokey and the Bandit car. The Bandit II pkg included the famous screaming chicken hood bird graphic; gold pinstripes; hood scoop; a multi piece ground effects kit similar to the GTA trans am. Additional exterior details include removable t-top roof panels; a rear spoiler; body color sport mirrors and pop up headlights and 15 ultra gold lace aluminum finished wheels. The car is finished in its factory original black paint; code #41; over black cloth interior all in excellent condition. The Bandit is powered by a 5.0 liter electronic fuel injected V8 paired with a 4 speed automatic transmission and power steering. Stopping power is provided by power assisted front disc brakes and rear drums. The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black cloth with embroidered Bandit script on the front of the headrests. Gold trim accents the instrument cluster; center stack; and shifter bezel; and amenities include JVC CD stereo; front and back Motorola telephones; power windows; power locks; ice cold air conditioning; cruise control; and a rear window defogger. The four spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames a 120 mph speedometer; a 6k-rpm tachometer; and gauges for voltage; fuel level; oil pressure; and coolant temperature.
